(The maintenance that sustains everything before)

If you've got this far, there's no need to celebrate with fireworks. What matters isn't the euphoria, it's the stability. This phase doesn't have as much shine as the previous ones, but it's the one that marks the real difference between having come out of grief… or ending up repeating it after a while.

Phase 5 doesn't start with a high. It starts with a calm and firm decision: not to function again without protection.

Here we're no longer rebuilding or understanding what happened. Here we're taking care of what you've built so it doesn't fall again. And that demands something that wasn't possible before: sustained, not reactive, self-love.

From the emergency antivirus to the conscious antivirus

For a long time I ran on «free» antiviruses. The kind that don't bother you, that don't demand too much, that only pop up when the virus is already inside. They warn late, when the system is already damaged. And that, emotionally, comes at a high cost.

In this phase it's not about putting out fires, but about preventing them from starting.

The Permanent Antivirus doesn't wait for you to have anxiety again, nor for you to start losing weight, nor for you to disconnect from yourself. It scans beforehand. It detects inconsistencies, small alarms, strange sensations you'd have ignored before.

Activating it isn't obsessing. It's taking responsibility.

The inner radar and the daily clean

Maintenance isn't about grand gestures, it's about small things done in time.

Looking at the inner radar and not ignoring the signals. If something doesn't fit your values, if a relationship starts to tense you up, if an environment switches you off, don't normalise it. There's no need to dramatise, but there is a need to act. Sometimes a limit is enough. Other times, a block. And others, leaving.

The emotional cache clean is also key. Not going to sleep accumulating resentment, guilt or unspoken conversations. That doesn't make you stronger, it saturates you. Learning to let go each day prevents the system from running slow again.

And don't forget the hardware. The body remains the most honest indicator. In my case, weight was a clear sign of stability or alert. Everyone has their own. Respect it. Self-love is also measured in how you take care of your physical base.

Self-love as the base system

Here's the core of everything.

Self-love in this phase is no longer a pretty concept. It's a daily practice. It's choosing yourself without noise, without justifying yourself, without waiting to hit rock bottom to react.

When self-love is active, going back to Phase 0 or Phase 1 becomes very difficult. Not impossible, but unlikely. Because now you don't need the system to collapse to realise something is wrong.

There'll be storms, of course. Life doesn't become flat or perfect. But now you have a boat that holds, a radar that warns and a judgement that isn't negotiated.

And that isn't euphoria. That's stability.

The journey doesn't end here. Here a much more conscious one begins.
