Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 de junio de 2026
At EmotionsDev we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, what for and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
Jordi Podeschva, responsible for the personal project EmotionsDev (emotionsdev.com). Contact: hola@emotionsdev.com.
What data we process and why
- Subscription: your email and language, to send you the updates and/or newsletter you chose. Basis: your consent.
- User account: email, name and username, to manage your access. Basis: performance of the service you request.
- Community map ("point of light"): name, city and country (shown) and email (NOT shown), to place your point on the globe. Basis: consent.
- Comments and testimonials: name and content (and email for testimonials, which isn't published). Basis: consent.
- Contact form: the data you provide so we can reply. Basis: consent.
- AI assistant: messages are stored anonymously (no name, email or IP), summarised in aggregate to understand what concerns the community, and deleted daily. Basis: legitimate interest in improving the content.
- Push reminders: if you enable them, we store your browser's push subscription, the chosen time and your time zone, to send you the daily check-in reminder. You can turn it off anytime. Basis: consent.
- Result by email: if you ask for your test or game result by email, we store your email (and your name or locality if you provide them) to send it to you, and your consent to receive occasional emails in the future. You can unsubscribe anytime. Basis: consent.
How long we keep them
Subscription and account data, until you unsubscribe or request deletion. The AI assistant's messages are deleted each day after being summarised anonymously.
Who we share them with (processors)
We don't sell your data. We work with providers that process it on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and cookie-free analytics), Resend (email sending) and Anthropic (the chat's AI model). Some may be outside the EU; in those cases they have adequate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@emotionsdev.com. You can also unsubscribe with one click from any email. If you believe we haven't respected your rights, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es), or your country's data-protection authority.
Minors
EmotionsDev also has content designed for teenagers (Teen Zone, 12–18). If you're under 14, you need your mother's, father's or guardian's consent to register or leave your data. In the spaces for teens we minimise data: email is optional and the chat is anonymous. If you're a minor, we encourage you to talk to a trusted adult. If we detect a minor's data without proper consent, we'll delete it.
Cookies
See our Cookie policy to learn which ones we use and how to manage them.
